ROCK SOLID
Every Sunday at 10:30am at Church
Rock Solid is Kid’s Church on a Sunday morning. After starting the morning off in ‘BIG CHURCH’ the children go to their different rooms to explore more about God in an age appropriate way. We have 4 different groups, a Crèche for young children up to age 3 and then groups for the ages 3-7, 7-11 and 11-16.
The aim of Rock Solid it to teach the children about the Bible in an interesting, dynamic and relevant way. We use a combination of drama, craft and games alongside Bible teaching to show the children how much God loves them and just how very special they are to Him.
BETHANY BABES TODDLER GROUP
Every Thursday at 10am until 11:30am (Term-Time only)
Bethany Babes is an adult and toddler group for children ranging from the age of birth up to 4 years. We have a range of activities e.g. craft, play and music which is child friendly Christian music with the instrument. We have snack time for the children, which varies from week to week. We also provide bacon rolls and a cuppa for the adults at a small charge.
We don’t charge for the session as we are a donation only group. This goes towards sponsoring a girl called Yurledis, through Compassion UK, as well as replacing toys. We are a warm and friendly group, and we do our best in making you feel welcome.
KIDZONE
Every Tuesday at 5:45pm until 7pm
Kidzone happens on a Tuesday evening. It is a night filled with fun and games for all children aged 3-7 years that runs during term time. We offer a variety of activities; craft, games, drama, cooking music and dance. The children come along and have fun and learn more about God.
7 UP YOUTH GROUP
Every Thursday at 6pm until 7:30pm
7 up is a group run for children between the ages of 7 and 11. We meet at Bethany every Thursday during term time between 6pm and 7.30pm.
As a group we meet to have fun and fellowship with each other and to learn a little about the Lord Jesus and how he can become our friend and make a difference in our lives.
During the evening we have a short talk or quiz or sometimes a visitor to speak to us. We play games, have team challenges and have the opportunity to do craft work and cookery.
Parents and children are always invited to join us on Sundays at Bethany and many have done so on special occasions.
FLAVA
Every Friday night from 7pm until 8:30pm
Flava is a weekly youth club for teenagers between the ages of 11-16 and runs from 7 to 8:30 on a Friday night. Flava has a very loose structure and allows the kids to do whatever they want (within reason), with the last portion of the evening dedicated to a God spot where one of the leaders or a special guest will share a message from the bible, while making it age relevant for the teens.
The club currently has 6 leaders who are very loyal and are there for anyone who needs them. Flava is in essence a safe environment for teenagers on a Friday night and they will always be welcome at this club.
